This is the shiny yarn that was on sale tht I bought in Philly for $3 a skein.

And this is a spinning project I've been doing on my drop spindle. I'm going to ply it together on my wheel. It's merino wool:

Knitter of shiny things: I like to knit and spin shiny things. Shiny, in this case, does not necessarily mean "reflective." It also means "cool" and "incredibly artistic." Though sometimes I do use yarn that actually shines.
